Does stored items disappear?

When I place items in a crate, for example in the gas station, do they disappear after a few hours?

If not you could use every house, as your home.

I've always got so much items which I would like to keep, but which I can't keep all the time in the inventory.

You can recourse a mod that change the containers in the Megaton or Tempenny house...give a look in the Download section ;)

However, you can take another way:

1) create your personal mod -.-

2) Type in your console: "Coc TestQAitems"...you appera in a test room, with all stuff present in Fallout 3...you can save your items in one of these container ;)
