MrHermeteeowish
I like to play Fallout with multiple characters, and of course, every now and then I save over a character accidentally and lose my progress. That just happened with a save I'd rather not lose. Is there any way to get it back?
Quetzlsacatanango
It depends what you did, I think. If it's like FO3, it will keep a backup of your last quicksave/autosave. I think they have the extension.bak. Just rename to .fos. If it was one of your regular saves you're probably SOL.
nasher27
Can you even have saves for different characters? I played my character for about 5-6 hours, and got to level 8. My buddy asked if he could start a guy to try the game out, and I said sure, just do a manual save of my guy first. He did and made his character, and now that save is gone. It's not even in Documents/My Games/FalloutNV/Saves. I'm not too happy about losing all of my progress. It's not even my friend's fault, he saved my guy. It's the stupid game that apparently deleted my save.
ArdoMel03
This is why i make sure to use all 1000 of the given saves before i start overwriting(not trying to be an ass, just stating there was a reason they gave us so many) i would also like too see a mod that allowed multiple character slots rather than just one long list
