Narcio
The reason why I am writing this is to hear from anyone else who is running a similar set of mods and has any comments on the compatibility of these different mods, the order of activating them in FOMM, and the load orders, etc. I am not an expert at FO3 mods by any means, though I have spent quite a long time looking up all of these mods, trying to read the instructions of each mod, etc. Maybe others trying to install a similar set of mods might find this info useful too, but be warned, I haven't thoroughly tested this setup and I reiterate that I'm far from being a FO3 mod expert. It would also be nice to hear about any compatibility issues etc before I invest a large amount of time playing the game with these mods. My goal is to run Fallout 3 with FWE (Fallout 3 Wanderer's Edition) with some common mods like EVE, WMK, MMM, etc. For starters, I'm working with Fallout 3 version 1.7 and all of the DLCs. I have followed the 4 basic instruction videos from FOIP (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968) for installing these mods using FOMM, FO3Edit, FOSE, and all of that stuff including toggling invalidation using FOMM. You can watch those tutorial videos I mentioned above for more details, because I pretty much followed them exactly. However, as of this date (22 Oct 2010), many mods have been updated from the versions used in the foip video. In all cases where I have found a newer updated version of a mod referenced in the FOIP videos, I've used the most up to date version except as noted. In addition to this, I want to install the following extra mods (many of these are recommended by FWE): -Robco Certified-Realistic Interior Lighting-Pipboy Light Mod-Fallout Street Lights-Enhanced Weather-Xepha's Dynamic Weather-Exnem's FO3 Nude Body Replacer-Exnem's FO3 DLC outfit patches + Tobar outfit-More Where that Came From (extra radio songs)-Patch for More where that Came From for 100 songs version Below, I've outlined the steps I took to created two patches, one for the basic mods suggested from those foip instruction videos, and another one incorporating everything from the first plus those extra mods that I just mentioned above. The main point in doing the two different merged patches was mainly just to test it out with the basic foip mods and make sure its working before proceeding into some of the extra mods. In the end I just want to use the second patch. I proceeded to download all of the mods, created a Fallout3 Mod dir, and copied the mods / fomod files into their own directory in the Fallout3 Mod directory. I added each mod into FOMM using the package manager. (See those foip videos again for details) Order of Activated Files: Unless otherwise specified, any time a request to replace files was encountered, I clicked "yes to all." So, in case of redundant files, a file from a mod lower down the list is given higher priority. rickerhk
With FWE you want to use EVE .96 and the important update for .96.The FOIP for .97 isn't available yet. Then re-create your merged patch.

Thank you for pointing that out, rickerhk. I will revert that back from 097 to 096 for the time being. NOTE: I've updated post 1 to reflect use of EVE .96 instead of .97. Narcio
Were you able to run them in the end? im trying to get mine to work but i think my problem is fomm didnt compressed and extract the files properly... These mods seem to work beautifully for me. I haven't played a huge amount yet (just in Megaton) but so far so good. I will also note that I started using NMC's extra textures performance package. I tried NMC's full texture pack, but I was getting lots of consistent crashing when I used those. I suspect my video card doesn't have enough ram for them (ATI Radeon 4870 with 512mb only.) Note: First post has been updated to include NMC's Performance texture pack.
Narcio
After having played some more with the settings I described in the first post, I can confirm that everything seems to be working fairly well. The only problem I have had is a couple of crashes (I think a total of 3 or 4.) After reloading my savegame everything seemed to work fine and I was not able to reproduce the crashes even if I tried to engage in the same behaviour as before. I think I had a similar number of crashes when playing the game without mods, so this doesn't concern me.
