manho221 Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 One thing Im really not liking so far, In FO3 the books you picked up were pretty sparse and when you read them it felt like an accomplishment. They added like +1 to your attributes depending on the book title. This was a permanent upgrade. In NV the books are plentiful so it's not very special to get your hands on them. The worst part is that the attribute bonus is like +10 and it lasts like 1-2 minutes and it's gone. Now I have all these books in inventory I carry around waiting for the best time to use one. The other thing is I did not know this begining the game and was using the books up as soon as I got them. I burned like 5 books before I realized what was happening. Is it a big deal ? no I just was a little disappointed by it and wanted to see what you folks thought. That being said I am enjoying the game a lot.
