kinderkrieg
Im sure this has been requested numerous times before, but I figure nothing ventured, nothing gained... so...I would love Fallout NV to more closely resemble the TES faction systems. One of the things I was most disappointed with Fallout 3 was the linear career/story progression and that there was relatively little content associated with each faction (for example; Ghouls, Slavers, Outcasts, Townships, Caravans and in particular Raider parties). I was looking forward to shiving my way to the top of the pecking order within a Raider camp, and having to conduct raids on the other caravans and settlements, and observing the 'fallout' so to speak with other factions. This would allow for more meaningful Karma interactions with NPCs, and help develop a feeling of a different storyline with each different character, rather than everyone being a jack-of-all-trades all the time. An integral part of Fallout should be working to further your position within whichever faction you choose, whether that be as a hard-bitten mercenary guarding extensive trade caravan networks or as a yellow-bellied Slaver selling unfortunates to the cannibals. I feel that the quality of the location mods in Fallout 3 were of such high quality that, with a little cooperation, a few of these factions could be fleshed out more fully.
