Increase spawn

Hey could anyone help explain to me how to increase spawns throughout the waste? Similer to MMM minus the new creatures. It would be bloody sweet to mow down hords of raiders with a minnigun instead of just two or three losers.

I second this notion haha. to me the wasteland seem so damn barren =\ Sure it's a wasteland but still...

 

Not to mention basically like 10 people tops in the strip. fail imo =\

Erm, what game is this? There are many places where you get attacked by 7 or 8 enemies at once, especially places related to interiors. Ok, maybe you won't find bands of 8-20 raiders just wandering about the wasteland, but realistically speaking you wouldn't find groups like those. Afterall, smaller groups are better able to move around and raid nearby areas than larger ones, especially since there are NCR patrols and such. A smaller group who does an occasional bit of raiding is just less likely to be seen as a real threat. Or havn't you become aware of what the mongols went through?

 

This isn't the capital wasteland, hordes of ghouls, raiders, mutants and the like just don't make sense.

Vagrant, what you say is true, at least for you, but some people want a higher ratio of creatures in each encounter so why shouldn't they ask for it? It's their game right? Personally, i wouldn't mind seeing an increase in spawn numbers a bit myself. Not 20 to 30 at a pop but more than one or two.

Well, I'm really just asking what game it is they're playing since I see plenty of stuff gang up on me as soon as I enter somewhere... I mean, try assaulting Vault 3 or making any of the major factions hostile sometime. Even the hotel in Prim can get a bit hairy early on when everything inside just rushes to the door to shoot the hell out of you. Then there's the onslaughts of scorpions that manage to even kill BoS expedition teams. Then there's those wasp thingies which are everywhere, deathclaws which 1 hit kill pretty much everything and roam in packs of 8 or 9... and I'm not even playing the game on hardcore... Just wondering what game they're playing in that they aren't constantly being attacked by hordes of stuff. Either it's their game that isn't working right, or it's mine.

What game? Its New vegas im talking about. I want to know how to increase spawns, im not asking anyone here to do it for me.

 

Again, how do i increase spawns using the geck? I checked the official geck website and they didnt tell me anything about altering the actual population of creatures.

And by spawns i mean MORE ENEMIES. Roving HORDS of enemies, ready for the mowing like long overdew lawn.

You can try looking at the leveled lists, but I suspect that many of the encounters are manually placed.

 

I am however still intrigued as to how you aren't being mobbed to death as is. Have you not tried wandering through that area northwest of Sloan, Vault 23, Vault 3, Scorpion Gulch, several of the caves, or become hostile with a major faction and visited their towns yet? Or are you just talking about those few small groups of gangs which sometimes appear near roadways?

 

Regardless, you will probably need to manually edit forms or place spawn points to do this kind of thing.
