Andarne
((Greetings! First of all, an introduction from myself. My name's Andy, and I love Roleplay with a passion. For the past seven years, I have done different types of RP; my most prominent being in Lord of the Rings: Online (3+ years, Laurelin (Dedicated RP Server)), which I sadly have no more time for due to College. Ever since I started playing Oblivion/Morrowind, I began Role-playing in the games. Always a Dunmer, of course, and the same name. When playing Morrowind, I did not follow a 'linear' path - in that my character was the Neravarine reborn, but a simple Elf watching the world go forth. The same applies in Oblivion. However, this OOC (out of character) intro is not the place to tell you his story. Let me now take you into Bendu's world. -Andy )) === It was the year 408 of the Third Era, in the land of Morrowind, Vvardenfel. The city of Vivec was large, but even the shrill cry of a babe born anew into the world filled the air. Bendu breathed his first breath, the smells new to him - for all he had known was the womb of his mother. Alas, she was exhausted from the ordeal and perished within hours of her son's birth - but Anduneni left her son not to an orphanage, but to her husband Ornalaure. Ornalaure was an Ordinator, not the highest nor the lowest of the rank. But from the day of his son's birth, he loved him like no other - and mourned his wife's passing, everyday. Bendu grew fast, and by his eleventh year he was approached by his father. "Son, on this day you will learn my art. When I pass, my mantle will go to you - praise be Vivec for permitting me this position, that I may put upon my son." Bendu was trained, often willingly, in the arts of the Ordinator Order of Vivec City, but he yearned for something more...something larger. The world he knew little of, only the island and the hatred of the Imperial 'invaders'. Years passed...the boy grew into a man, and followed his ageing father's wish to become one of the Order. His place in Vivec City he took, honouring his father who was by now ill with the blight (caught during an expedition into the Ashlands, for Vivec). But still, the wonder of the outside world lingered in his mind. Would he abandon his post, to follow this urge to explore? Would he ask for leave? These questions he never got to ask, for upon his father's death in the year 428 Bendu left Vvardenfell for Cyrodiil. With no real training of the navigation of the wild, what he thought would take a month at least ended being five years. Bendu Olo arrived in Cyrodiil in the year of 433, and the Oblivion Crisis. === Information Outward Appearance: Bendu is a Dunmer of normal stature.
