Gobananas01
Hello, guys. It being my first thread on this forum-*confetti blows in my face* Get out of here, Richard! Get back in your dungeon! *clears throat* As I was saying. I was wondering if it would be possible to convert the models of Fallout New Vegas/3 to Source Filmmaker. Also, I was wondering if you could import character models somehow. Is this a thing?
Gobananas01
Bump. Does anyone have an answer for this?
nivea
Does the SFM allow you to import and export .obj files, if so then it might be possible.
Gobananas01
Does the SFM allow you to import and export .obj files, if so then it might be possible. From what I've reseached, SFM accepts these files: .dmx, .dx80.vtx, .dx90.vtx, .mdl, .phy, .sw.vtx, .vvd, .vmt, and .vtf. I might be wrong on this though. This is where I got the information. http://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/63009/can-gmod-sfm-models-be-converted-to-unity-gameobjects
nivea
Yeah, but the question you should be asking yourself is: Can Blender or 3DMax read any of those files?Because you need to get them back into nif formats no matter what you use.
