SirJereBear
So very recently, I installed NMM, and then continued to install a mod for NMM. The mod installed successfuly, and it shows up in my list of mods, even when I open the mod list for the Skyrim launcher. However, When I click Play for the launcher, a User Account Control notification pops up, asking "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" With of course a no and a yes option. If I click no, nothing happens, the launcher is still there, but clicking Play just brings the notification back up. If I click Yes, the launcher completely closes, the typical steam notification pops up saying it's preparing to launch Skyrim, then the Skyrim launcher pops up again as if nothing happened, yet clicking play just brings the windows notification back up. Point being, I can't get passed the windows notification, so I can't actually launch Skyrim. This is an issue that didn't arise until I bothered with Nmm and Nexus Mods, and I haven't been able to find any similar topics regarding this issue. Can someone please help? Piuhate
I have the exact same problem since yesterday. I even deleted and re-installed all the mods and the game, deleted all mod files and even in vanilla I wont get past the launcher..
Sirmojo
If anyone ever has this problem, you need to make it so the game doesn't launch in admin mode. As you might've put it in admin to shift the mods around. After this run in combatibility mode to be on the safe side.
