Unable to install with non-Steam FO3

I'm not a fan of steam, its got in my way many times during my time with New Vegas.

But just do what I do, backup your fallout.ini and take it out of your steam directory (in my case just copy and paste)

That way the game is completely unrelated to steam and when steam updates I just simply replace the new directory again.

It's a win win right?
