How to get NPC Companion to Fast Travel?

Misunderstanding. I made Pokemon mod for Fallout 3 where you could summon Pokemon using Pokeballs. I had it so they could follow and guard you but could never get them to fast travel with me.

 

I am making a similar mod for New Vegas without all the Pokemon crap in it. Same principle but I want them to be able to fast travel this time around. So I am not sure what I am missing in the AI department.

Man, I looked at the VNPCFollower quest, the related script, and etc., in the GECK. I just don't know: I can't figure out why followers fast travel with you. Sorry. All I can do is bump it again.

 

I know, I have spent a good amount of time on trying to figure this out and its hard to find without proper tutorials. I think it has something to do with setting them as teammate with script but I am not sure on how to go about this.

I hadn't time for a proper testing yet in Vegas but in FO3 Actors which are non-persistent references don't fast travel with the player and don't follow through doors.

 

Every actor in FO3 which had a script attached was automatically a persistent reference. This could be solution for your problem.

 

What actors (Geck name) are you spawning with your script?
