zealot64x
Did lots of mods on FO3 no issues at all. Recently wiped my computer, and picked up New Vegas. After beating it I wanted to dive straight into modding but am having issues with the GECK. I installed it, and chose to do so in the New Vegas folder as it was the only one in the Bethesda folder. I did and launch geck, the NV.esm is there (Woot!) but when I try to load it GECK says it doesnt support the version I am trying to load. So I look into the GECK Updater to make it 1.5, and when I try to use that it tells me there is a missing registry or INI file. I even tried making a Fallout 3 folder for geck to install into and putting the patch in the same folder, but to no avail. Im sure the solution is simple, could somebody please help me :)? NorthStar462
You're trying to use the GECK made for Fallout 3. There's a totally different version for New Vegas.
