Shibster89
Ello, folks. I got this idea after seeing a mod someone made for the workbenches and what not. Basically they made sub menus in the workbench screens to make finding what you wanna do easier. Im thinkin that the inventory needs this overhaul. Imagine this - I open my pipbooy I go to Items, then select weapons. Instead of it listing every weapon alphabetically, it would have a sub menu of the basic idea of what the weapon is for instance. a +pistol tab and when you click/select it, the menu extends and shows you what pistols you have on you at the time. same thing with +shotguns +rifles +laser +plasma +melee. I think this would be a good idea for the Armor (+light +med +heavy +head) and Aid (+heal +buff) tab as well. The only thing I dont imagine this working for is the Misc. tab, thats just way to much to organize. its easier to just scroll through it anyways. Bottom line is, I hate that everything is listed in alphabetial order. it makes tryin to find certain things a pain in the ass, i could have 3 differnt types of pistols, and they would be spread out over the list. it makes it easier when everything is grouped. yeah? please, modders of Fallout:NV I beg you. please. :excl:  :wallbash:
Shibster89
*Bump Come on seriously people. even if your not a modder, show some feed back you know this would be a great mod!
csgators
Breaking up the Aid items is greatly needed IMO, I don't tend to carry enough weapons or armor for those to be that critical but it wouldn't hurt.
HaikenEdge
I'm with Shibster; I tend to carry around 1 of every weapon in perfect condition, so being able to sort through them would be nice. That, and if the repair menu could be switched to alphabetical order, rather than by durability remaining, that'd be sweet.
Shibster89
 thank you, you two. for showing some support. i figure if this idea gets enough attention it just may happen. thanks again.
scrivener07
Yes the inventory NEEDS to be broken down into smaller categories. Like aid needs a books, food\drink, and medical section really bad. Weapons needs a melee, pistol, rifle, energy.. etc sections and I REALLY would like a more oblivion style apparel section where I could sort armour by weight, value, and dt/armour rating. I should beging over at DarNs forum
VLCR
Its always a torture for me to manage my inventory  Parts for crafting, food(-FOD), drinks (-H20), Buffs (Jets, Med-X, Stimpaks etc) should have separate menu aswell imo. It would be great also to have bindings for diffrent items (Boosters, food, weapons, armor)

HaikenEdge
Also, the mods that add prefixes to items don't help the problem; I don't need to see a tag in front of an object, because that doesn't change the problem of clutter at all.
