bben46
Did it ever work?Do you have any mods installed? List them.Have you allowed Steam to patch it?
bobk90
Sounds like a MOD problem, so go back into 'Data Files' and uncheck the last one you installed. :geek:

Maybe FalloutNV.esm is damaged?
chrisk1986
could anyone upload ************* ?? when i double click it from data files it crashes again.. Your only warning.Uploading any vanilla game files is considered piracy - asking for them uploading them, PMing them or giving links that allow downloading are all banning offenses. If you think this file is bad - you need to reinstall the game. If you got it legally that will not be a problem. If it is a pirate version, that could very well be the problem.Bben46, Moderator

NinethGateKnight
I'm having a similar issue with the FalloutNV crash while in full screen mode. It first started just randomly for no reason then it went into an hourly cycle. Read up on it some some people believe it has to do with ATI's CCC and how for some reason it never works just crashes lol. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it was fine then started crashing again so i stripped CCC out of my system and reinstalled just the display driver as CCC is useless for me and set all graphics settings to there minimum. and set it to windowed mode in a mid-res. im having the same problems still this time it's at a specific place i start trding with a merchant just outside of the mojave outpost as soon as i go to exit the trade window it craashes i lose all control and have ctrl-alt-delete to logout and it's on a manual save... On a side note if it's of any importance i read something along the lines that steam uses ATI CCC... NinethGateKnight
Another side note... I also have the UAC disabled had to do that for FO3 so it's been disabled for awhile. I have the steam shortcut running as wins XP (serv pk 2) but am unable to set it as admin through right clicking into properties but can when i right click its shortcut just not through properties but it doesn't show as being checked
