New to Fallout New Vegas Modding?

I have quite a serious issue: my doc doesn't want to talk the lines I gave him (npc name is "FSDaveRocketman"):

The mod is here: http://www.box.net/shared/2e4gbjah0j

If someone has a time to look, could you help me? I am going nuts and it's a deep night, he uses basic dialogue :/. I've made a check "GetIsID" on FSDaveRocketman on GREETING topic, so it's not that.

Another important question: how to check player's stats during quest dialogues? I see GetPCMiscStats, but what if I want to check strength? I want to make NPC to greet/talk to player differently based on player's Intelligence and Charisma.

It's not in the script, it's the quest topic conditions. Can I use scripts there?

P.S. The NPC in question has ID = FSDaveRocketman, he's located in a cell called FSPharmacy. Thank you very much for your offer of help :). I thought that the problem is that I didn't set Speaker to FSDaveRocketman, but it doesn't work. Thank you in advance.

OKAY! It was not shown throught "quest" but it was shown through "dialogue" button... Probably GECK interface has some bugs. It added some conditions about voice types (from "generic adult" check probably) to GREETING so it was not started.

No :P. Probably some bug which I cannot see through GECK or FNVEdit. I plan to remake the NPC from scratch then :(.

P.S There's definitely something wrong with the NPC himself. I remade all GREETING topics, and all other NPC I've made work and this doesn't. I would still like to figure out why, because it could save a lot of problems in the future.

Use the Validator to check your code:

http://www.cipscis.com/fallout/utilities/validator.aspx

Correct the errors you have and then check the warnings.

If it still don't save it's because you mistyped a variable name or a reference.

Note: it was made for Fallout 3 and don't take the new Fuction of NV.

Hey, thanks for linking my validator. I just thought I'd make it known that, once my University exams are over for the year, I will be returning to update my validator, including updating its library so that it supports New Vegas functions, as well as probably a bit of modding New Vegas.
