force veronicas quest to start

So i've spent a good 3 hours now going to practically every damn location on the map and she refuses to say anything other than "whats up" I also tried waiting thinking maybe i hadn't spent enough time with her, i waited 40 days. and nothing.

 

at first i thought this was my mods glitching it, but now i've seen 2 people report the same thing on the 360 version, so yay it's another bug. thanks a million obsidian for the 100+ bugs you left in this game.

 

Anyway, i seriously want to do this quest before i beat the game and it's the really the only thing i have left to do,

 

so is there any console command i can use to force this quest to start, without bugging up my game.

i tried using setstage 00145f85 10 and it did nothing. according to the geck and wiki this should of started the quest with the first objective, but instead it did absolutely nothing, didn't get any error, but it didn't start anything.

talk to her a few times she will tell all ,also take her to NCR camp mccarran that will get her to go home and then you can go from there

yup already done. talked to her in every single location in mccarran and waited 2-3 days in each location before trying again. also told her to leave, then added her again, repeated, and still nothing.

 

as far as i can tell, once this happens, your save is screwed. you can uninstall/reinstall the game, still won't work, you can even kill her with the console and bring her back, still won't work. She's just glitched.

 

Hence why i'm asking for some form of console way to get this to work because thats it.

 

If there isn't one then i guess oh well. honestly this game has so many glitches and bugs that i'm ready to chuck it aside and come back in 6 months when 5 patches have come out and maybe they actually fix something.
