Mopy? Bashed Patch?

so yesterday i installed Pyffi and started running it. didnt think i t would be a problem, as everyone reported it to NOT be a problem.

today, i start playing the game, and partway through, i noticed wrye bash's MAO patch just . . . stopped. in the middle of a game, dremora started using my animations. well, thats ok, because comparable things have happened before, and the solution is ALWAYS to rebuild the bashed patch. so i try to do that. and i get an error that is utterly and completely incomprehensible to me:

when i even click on the installers tab in Wrye Bash, after a minute or so, well before it completes whatever its doing, i get this:

I think that when you installed Pyffi, it installed a newer version of Python than your version of Wrye Bash is running with, and confused things. I would recommend that you pull down and install the latest version of Wrye Python (found on Wrye Bash page on TesNexus) and the latest stable version of Wrye Bash.

Shadowfen is correct. If you installed any python libraries for PyFFi you likely overwrote something that Wrye Bash needs. Wrye Bash uses some custom libraries and that's why there is a specific version you need to use. Reinstall Wrye Python03a to resolve.

thanks for the rapid and helpful responses!

final question: if i re-install wrye python, will that do anything unpleasant to Pyffi?

If you use the latest version, likely not. The latest version upgraded python to a version that pyffi should be able to use. I do not use Pyffi however, so this is conjecture.
