Oblivion.ini Question

So I'm just editing a few things in the Oblivion.ini such as some font changes (manually installing DarNified UI, as well as a few other things) and i just had a quick question regarding the way the .ini file works:

 

Will every single change to .ini file alter a game setting? for example, i know if i erase something written, or change something written than it will obviously have an effect on the game, but say i just want to add some empty lines between each setting category, or say i change the color of some of the words in the .ini file -- will that do anything to the game?

its all just a matter of trying to make the .ini easier to read and easier to search for the different categories by maybe changing some colors.

Hi,

.ini files are basically plain text files, so adding color formatting is not possible.

Adding a few empty lines shouldn't be a problem though.
