Better Item Storage

We have a KeyRing to keep the hundreds keys from cluttering our inventory so why not just dupe the KeyRing script and apply it to other item categories?

Your KeyRing stores all of your keys.

Your Mod Cache stores all of your weapon mods.

Your Extra Deck stores all of your Caravan cards.

And so forth. This could really help sort out inventory clutter. Please comment and bump if you would like to see a mod like this available for you to download. I have tried to do it myself but my very limited knowledge prohibits me so.

Ammo parts for ammunition crafting\recharging

etc...

Nice idea, certainly sounds feasible to me. The only downside is it's a clunky workaround for the already unpleasant menus.

I'm going to play with the scripting in this game but I've never modified a Bethesda game though, so not sure if I can do it. Anyone with working knowledge of the GECK and it's scripting know a reason this won't work?

no reason it shouldn't work, but I'm guessing the keyring script has a code for items that use the key template. In the GECK the cards and components fall under the misc items tree of items but weapon mods have their own category so it would be easy to make a mod crate thing or something along those lines, but there would probly be a lot of issues with the game recognizing which items you actually have in your inventory. but definitely something to look into.
