marksman
Im currently in the process of revamping and expanding the Lucky 38 Suite which has a vanilla upgrade terminal to add things such as a work bench and containers etc, ive been using the workbench as a base to allow me to add a reloading bench and other upgrades to the terminal and suite but im having a hell of a time actually getting them to appear in the suite once the upgrade has been purchased. To give you a run down of what ive done: The workbench uses a vendor, a misc item and a script to enable it to be placed (or rather enabled) in the suite, it does this by placing the misc item into a vendor called VendorChestL38Upgrade, Ive had no issues creating a new misc item and adding the script to it (with the correct reference(L38UpgradeReloadingBench01REF) and script name(L38UpgradeReloadingBench01SCRIPT) and ive also placed a reloading bench in the suite with initially disabled and persistant reference ticked which is exactly the same as the workbench, aswell as adding the REF from the script to the reloading bench. However when I purchase the upgrade through the terminal the reloading bench does not enable/appear, I cant figure it out as all ive done is basically used everything the workbench upgrade uses to recreate the reloading bench upgrade. This is the script:scn L38UpgradeReloadingBenchSCRIPT begin onadd L38UpgradeReloadingBench01REF.enable 1 removeme end If anyone is able to have a look at this for me I would be very greatful After checking more into this its clear the script isnt triggering, the misc item (Reloading Bench) isnt being removed from my inventory unlike the other upgrades. still unsure what is causing the problem as the 'onadd' function should trigger the script if its added to any inventory however, if i drop the item on the floor and then pick it up, it triggers the script! EDIT: After checking with the official forums this is a bug related to scripts, incase anyone else comes across this.
