Console commands aren't working?!

When I open a console, type a command and press enter, it gives me an error message saying that the command cannot be executed. I've tried several commands, but they all give the same error.

Anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

Any kind of commands. Doesn't matter what I try, they give the same error message.

I think Rusty means; "Show us the EXACT commands you are trying to enter in the console."

 

Type them in your post as if you were entering them in-game.

 

Without seeing what you're doing, no one can tell you why it doesn't work. Any typo, any omission can cause a command to fail. (Although in my experience, in that case it just doesn't do anything at all. I don't get an "error message"...)

I am 100% sure that I'm not making any typos. Because I've been typing them over and over again :(

What commands are you using? Are you trying to use the debug routines? Are you trying to put items in your inventory? Change your appearance? Without knowing what you are trying to do we cannot help ;)

I tried to put items in my inventory, I tried adding levels, xp ... everything. Nothing seems to work.

You need to install the AddItem Script - Console by hdhd or you will never be able to add items :thumbsup:

 

Edit: An easier way to add levels and xp is to use the Dragon Age Beguiler 004 by TheMutator

Thank you so much :D Silly me.

Though, what about other commands. Any ideas on, why they aren't working? :/

 

And, I tried this ... still nothing works.
