ShadowXII
Fallout New Vegas brings some... interesting changes to the table. Some I'm not quite impressed with, like the lack of specialist traders, like what Fallout3 had with Canterbury Commons' traders, and I personally miss Sergeant RL-3 making me laugh. But the worst part, THE WORST PART, for me is how #2 is hot-keyed in cement for switching ammo types. In Fallout3 I had that set to my sidearm, with my big gun in #1, melee in #3 and grenades in #4. What I can do is re-assign switching ammo types to any other key, but #2 remains unmappable, as a weapon/item hotkey or indeed anything else. I am frustrated beyond belief that my comfortable system has been shattered, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Thank the Glow that #5 - Stimpaks - hasn't been concreted over like Vault 21 or I'd never survive. Does anyone in the Nexus have the know-how to modify this? I don't have faith in Bethesda/Obsidian repairing this.
natethegreatt
I'm not sure but I think a script extender is required to mod this. So until one is written I think we're screwed :S Again, though, I'm not 100% on that.
Elmrond
I hate losing my hotkey 2 as well. Its is stupid that you can remap ammoswap FROM key 2(default) but then you cannot use key 2.
Nemesite
Hopefully it will annoy most people and they'll fix it up in the next patch personally I'd prefer to use q to swap ammo

ShadowXII
I'm happy using #0 as my ammo swap, since I mostly use melee weapons, or sniper rifles at ultra-long range. Still... no idea why #2 is unmappable.
