McclaudEagle
Hi all. I'm in need of some help regarding making objects such as tents and radio towers show up from a long distance away. When you're in the game, you look around and you can see many radio towers that are miles away, however, the one I placed the in GECK as a test disappears about 200 or so meters away. I heard that it's something to do with the LOD, but I'm not totally sure, especially after a disaster I had when modding Fallout 3. The disaster went a little like this: I flattened all of the terrain in the Mall in D.C and covered it in grass. I then removed all or most of the trees and debris. I went in game, and the distance was very low, so I decided to change that. I went back into the GECK, clicked on World LOD and generated new landscape, tree and object LOD's. The end result was a complete failure. The Mall had returned to normal but the trenches were filled with low res textures. Now, my understanding is that I must have done something wrong. So, I am here to ask for some help to prevent it from happening again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

toxicwolf6
I have this problem too :/ In the GECK I dug a large hole in the El Dorado Dry Lake and began building a town inside. When I went ingame to test, the hole was filled with low-res terrain, but I could walk through it and get underneath to my town.Does anyone know how to fix?!? It looks like the low-res terrain is shaped to the terrain above it, but does not refresh when you change the landscape.
