TehRoot
Hey, what is FNV edit? Could someone link me to a wiki or something? Or explain it?
Fraktyl
FNV Edit is the port of FO3edit. :) It's a tool that will allow you to modify esm/esp files. It will detect conflicts between to addons, and it will allow you to create a "merged" patch that combines all the changes you want into one file. This link has documentation on FO3edit in pdf form:http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8629 That should give you some idea on how to use it and what's possible with it. Luckmann
Hey, that's awesome. I only FO3Edit to extract the textures and meshes, but have been thinking for days that "Man, I need to combine myself some of these .esp's; WHY haven't anyone done a tool for that?". :teehee:
WuphonsReach
It's an absolute indispensable tool for: - making sure that you didn't touch anything you shouldn't have- quickly cleaning your ESP prior to release to fix the above issue- checking for conflicts with other popular mods I never needed to create a merged patch in my games as I avoided mods that just wouldn't play nicely with others.
