420juana
Hi there, I dont know how many of you used tailor made in FO3 but it was an excellent mod that allowed for mixing and matching of pieces of armors to get just the right look. I loved all the armor pieces from the dlcs and thought it was really neat that they could be combined. From my understanding the original author is Japanese so he will need to translate any communication. I am hoping he might be interested in porting it himself, but if anyone knows him or is willing to do it for him it would be very awesome. His ID when the mod was originally posted was sin7188, hopefully he is still available for contact. I tried muddling around with it myself to see if i could get any of the items working in new vegas (for offline use only, and my own interests sake, not a clue what im doing really) but I could only get the meshes working but not speaking to the textures despite my archive invalidation efforts. Thanks in advance if you are able to help in any way. DeadYorick
The problem with Tailor Made is that it involved seperating the models apart and putting them into the G.E.C.K as new objects. It would be easy to port if New Vegas had all of the Fallout 3 models. But to my understanding not all the Fallout 3 clothing/armor models are in the datafiles in New Vegas. I cant find the Raider models especially, and the one in the Tribal pack being a port of a Fallout 3 model should be evidence of that. Some are, like the Tunnel Snake's outfit and whatnot but not all are. It would be a lot easier for the creator to simply recreate Tailor Made with New Vegas's clothing, then face the legal problems associated with porting Fallout 3 models. But even that takes a lot of time
