Gwyvern Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 ive been wanting to do things such as make my own custom weapons/armor for a while now, and even though i have some decent skill with modeling in blender, the complexities of figuring out the .Nif tools and plugins for blender always turned me off of it (i couldnt even find the plugins) but today ive resolved myself to atleased make one custom weapon, and then see what happens from there, and i finaly found the plugins on the internet, but the ones i can find are all for the 32 bit version of blender, which is a problem for me as i have a 64 bit OS and thus cannot install the 32 bit version of Blender (i have tried, i just get error messages) any aid on locating the 64 bit .nif plugins for blender, as well as maby a guide to making my own custom weapons, as the one on the GECK site is rather confusing thanks for any help!
Quetzlsacatanango Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 You have to install the 32bit version of blender. Nifscripts don't work with the 64bit version. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to, whether you have a 64bit OS or not (I do and run it fine)... unless you're running on an itanium? I doubt it.What error are you getting?
Gwyvern Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 hmmm it suddenly lets me install it...go figure >.>
Gwyvern Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 where can i find all the existing meshes for the game? they arent in the Data Folder
Quetzlsacatanango Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 They are in the fallout - meshes.bsa file. You can upack them with Fallout mod manager.
Quetzlsacatanango Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 No, but you can still open bsas with it.
