Don't forget armory's that you could actually rob and got good stuff from it.

I've found plenty of great stockpiles of gear in NV. I found a 12.7mm SMG, a Hunting Shotgun and Revolver, a hundred or so NCR bucks/legion denari's and 7000 caps in one location. I've also found lots of stored gear in Vaults, or other complex's. I found the All-American, the unique Marksman Rifle, at the bottom level of a vault, among a bunch of other great items (combat armor, minigun, missle launcher, etc).

So basically, you guys aren't giving the game a chance.

This just goes back to what I said earlier - if you've played Fallout 1 and 2, you should enjoy New Vegas more than Fallout 3 (if you don't, you must not have been that much of a fan). If you haven't played Fallout 1 and 2, and only know Fallout 3, then I can see why you would prefer 3 to NV. Hardcore or experienced fans of Fallout know what Obsidian did here.

I gave it it's chance and it made me lose interest fast. Faster than Dragon Age.

I agree. There are two types of people in the world; those that played Fallout 1 and 2 and were sad to see Fallout 3 change as much as it did (despite being fun in its own way), and those that haven't played Fallout 1 and 2 and consider New Vegas a step in the wrong direction, as in Fallout 3 is all they know. If you've played Fallout 1 and 2, you should appreciate what New Vegas did to the franchise - it's more in line with the Fallout universe than Fallout 3 ever was.

Not to mention the dialogue, story, and writing, arguably the most important part(s) of an RPG, were terrible in Fallout 3. Obsidian houses the people that made the originals, and also Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape Torment - literally some of the best RPG's to ever be created for the PC. These guys know how to do it, and while Bethesda has the open world exploration and general gameplay down pat - some of the best in the industry, they are seriously lacking in the department that defines what an RPG actually is or is supposed to be.

I find the dialogue to be better in 3. But like someone said it's all my opinion and you shouldn't attack people because of it.
