Geeves83 Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 Just a quick question that I can't seem to find an answer for; If I create a new item in the GECK, how do I get it to use an existing model? Whenever I go to change the model it only shows files from installed mods, and it won't let me type a file path in the greyed-out area. Any help greatly appreciated. Quetzlsacatanango Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 It is a lot easier to find an item that already uses the model you want, and change the formID. It will ask you if you want to create a new form, say yes. Now you have a new item that is identical to the old, but now you can mess with it without affecting everything in the game.
