jallard
I have gone over the installation instructions, but I am still confused as to what folder do I unzip the files into, to make it work? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
RustyBlade
Create a folder called DAO-Modmanager or name it whatever you want and unzip it there. For easy access, open the folder, right click on the DAO-Modmanager.exe and select "Send to Desktop" so you have an easy way to find it. Follow the rest of the instructions that came with it once you get it started.
Thandal
@Jallard; (Do you have the same user name on the BSN?) Anyway; 1. "DAO-Modmanager" (DAMM) itself can be in ANY folder. You will verify/specify the DA program and user override folders as part of the set-up. But I keep it under: "\[user's documents]\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\mods" so that it's handy. (Note the new personal folder, "\mods". I created that.) 2. Within "\mods", DAMM created folders named: "\dazip", and "\override". 3. As the names imply, .dazips go in the ".\dazip" folder, and .overrides go in the "\override" folder. (DAMM does not recognize ".zips", but you can rename them to ".dazip" and then it will.) 4. The vast majority of the mods I use are NOT handled by DAMM (nor could DAM handle them, for that matter.) They are "stand-alones" that just go in the: "\[user's documents]\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override" folder. I do keep everythng there in its own sub-folder so I can: a) remove it quickly when I want, and; b) remember what the heck it is!

Everytime I try to click on the executable file, to install it, a windows error message props up: And, I have no idea why, because it doesn't give you an explanation. RustyBlade
Are you running as an administrator? If you aren't, try that. If you are, re-download the file as it may have gotten corrupted during transfer.

I have already tried that, several times. Jeez, all I want to do is install the "special Skills pack" and "Natural bodies."

It just "runs". (But presuming you meant that...) As RB said, check to ensure you're "Running As Administrator". Also, could you provide the text of the error message? I know it's just a generic one, but WHICH generic one points to the type of problem it's having.

RustyBlade
It crashed. Delete what you have and try re-downloading it.
jallard
It crashed. Delete what you have and try re-downloading it. I can't tell you how many times that I have done just that recently. Secondly, I was able to, at the very least, install the nude mod without the use of the DAO-Modmanager. Now, if I can just get the developer console to work, to add some cheat codes?!? I am getting board with the game and wanted to do and see things different. Lord knows that I won't be buying DA 2.
