br0kenm4n
all right, i've done what i consider to be a pretty exhaustive search, and i've not come up with any existing mods that handle this. basically, i want my party to stroll along when i walk, not run two steps, stop, run two steps, stop, etc. there's a post over at the bioware forums (from the lead game designer or somesuch) that says that while bioware doesn't plan to fix it themselves, "I understand that there is some desire to see the party walk majestically through Denerim, but I do not consider the behavior a problem, as the toolset offers any number of ways to make characters walk in cutscenes, conversations and ambiently." so the question. does anyone know of a mod that fixes this? and if not, can it be done? and if it can be done, would someone do it? (I would myself, but i'm bad @ toolset, aparrently)
RustyBlade
Have you tried using the Numpad / command? Hint: You can access all keyboard commands in-game by going to options and clicking the Controls tab.

Trade-off for doing so is that it's much harder to "watch all around you", since your PC turns in the direction you're "looking".

NO. There is no such mod that I know of, and I would think that it would be impossible without modifying the code for the underlying Infinity game engine. The companions' behavior in this case is controlled by the engine having the rest of the Party react to their respective In-Party order, and their individual distances from the controlled character. The program has each non-controlled character approach until they're within a specificed range, then halt to see what the controlled character does next. Not "customizable". RustyBlade
Unfortunately cutscenes, conversations and ambient movements have little to do with normal party movement.

RustyBlade
Ambient would be in camp or other areas not in cutscenes or conversations where you have no control over them.
