skinnytecboy Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 Hello my fine furry friends. This is a call for help for anyone interested in getting involved with M.H.A.R.P.H.I.N. Basically, I'm in the process of updating him to version 2 (oh my word) but there are still a couple of niggling issues with regard to animations and typical Dwemer centurion A.I. behaviour. 1.When talking to M.H.A.R.P.H.I.N. the players line of sight is drawn to his mid-rift. 2. He doesn't play any animation when in conversation. 3. Battle, sometimes he stops fighting (although he still engages and taunts). Need someone who can really fix his battke A,i. I hope this doesn't come across as arrogant, I believe strongly in the idea of community and any help given will of course be credited and I will owe you (I don;t have many skills, but what I do have will be at your disposal, I'm fairly good with audio) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61016/? HailHell Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Ok so i tested your centurion a little and so far i figure that the combat ai is f*#@ed up because of the lightining spell he keeps casting, when u swich his cs to mele only he does't attack at all, you must have screwed up somewhere along those lines. He does not have a bleed out animation or its just not being used not sure, but when he runs out of health he just stands there until he regains his health, the standing animation can be confused with him doing 'nothing'. The camera can be moved by mouse when talking to him so i do not really understand that one. Centurions don't deam to have 'convo' animations so apart from the steam and the sparks he wont be moving, unless u maybe work around it with a script but i dunno. I managed to get him to attack me with his hands but i can't remember what i did exacly and i am really itred, i'll test some more tomorrow... I don't think magic could be the cause, as I only added spells in V1.3. I had thought that the issue could be related to long range attacks (he didn't have any). so I decided to create a few shout attacks that would allow him to cope with long range and close combat. So far I've experimented with:Range attacksCombat StylesAdjusting Energy levels (I think this is the real issue)But he still randomly ceases combat. . He does not have a bleed out animation or its just not being used not sure, but when he runs out of health he just stands there until he regains his health, the standing animation can be confused with him doing 'nothing'. Hmm, I hadn't thought about bleed out being a possible cause. That's worth investigating further. Although he's quite a tank, it would take some doing to force him into bleed out mode.
