therussiandong
(I feel like I've created so many threads asking for help lol..) Well I edited the 1st Recon Beret by deleting the entire badge. I did this in Blender, so after I finished editing it in Blender I exported it as a .obj file to NifSkope and then saved it as a .nif.When I try to change the model file name in the object the model just shows up as an red exclamation mark. Something is obviously wrong with the .nif. But I'm not sure what to do about it.

Interfer0
I do believe you can export as a nif with the correct tools out of blender. There could be a lot of things that cause your problem though.
Rocketlombax
There's a much better way to do this. There's a tutorial I've found to be the ultimate in editing armor that I suggest to everybody because it's just that useful! The Clothing Conversion tutorial by Sickleyield is all you really need. It'll tell you how to import and export things properly.
