Mikicat
I ran into yet another problem, annoyingly, this one doesn't hinder my modding but it does slow it down a lot. Every time I open a mesh using NifScope, the textures that SHOULD load with it doesn't. All the textures needed are related to the mesh like they should be, and I've designated the right folder, but every time I load a new mesh I have to manually go trough all of the mesh parts and "activate" the texture for the individual part. Surely there must be something I'm not thinking of or are too thick-headed to notice. Any help would make my modding so much easier and you'll have my eternal gratitude ^^. KMA
Which version of Nifskope are you using. I just tried (as of 5 minutes ago) 1.0.22.8329d39 and I could not even get the textures to list (which is all I wanted for now). As far as I know Nifskope does not support FNV yet, and the Obsidian meshes are different from F3's requiring some tweaks for the Skope.
Quetzlsacatanango
Go to render->settings and manually add your new vegas path.
ghostfc3s
Ah What? Nifscope does support nv the files are identical between fo3 and nv. Make sure your viewing block info and in tree.
Mikicat
I am viewing block info correctly, I have told NifScope the correct New Vegas path, the reason I'm posting here is because I simply cannot understand why I can't see the textures! I was hoping someone have had a similar problem and know how to fix it, or maybe some of you could make a list of exactly what you did to make textures load? I'm quite confused. weijiesen
*sigh* Just delete EVERYTHING except for the Fallout data and the Fallout New Vegas data under Settings>Render in Nifskope. If you still cant see any textures, then tell me which version of Nifskope you are running, and which Python/PyFFi you have downloaded, and where you installed all of them. KMA
Thanks for the mental jump-start. I forgot to put the Textures1 and Textures2 into a Data folder. That solved everything. Cheers!
mmeador
I may need a jumpstart as well, I can see the textures fine in the render window, but not the names of the textures in the block list. Is this something that nifskope still supports? Found the answer I was looking for in this thread: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/252247-help-getting-into-retexturing%3B-making-ncr-non-ncr-armors/page__p__2248540__hl__%2Bnifskope+%2Btexture__fromsearch__1#entry2248540
Colactic
Go to render->settings and manually add your new vegas path. This helped me a lot. Thanks!
