Breton Thief Oriana
It might be too much to load and my PC can't handle it, but the other cell A to cell B jumps worked up until this point. Right after I got my class, I go towards the sewer hatch and activate it. When I do, it loads and then windows brings up an error message, saying Oblivion needs to close. ...Says it's at Offset: 0048024e, whatever that means. I'd update my drivers, but I'm not sure how exactly to do that and I don't want to screw anything up. I'd post my system specs if I knew where to find them, too. At any rate, it's on lowest quality and allways crashes at that exact moment but never before. I've tried COC to circumvent this, but whenever I do I end up in a place that's completely black and it says I'm in the air.
Dilvish
You may have a video card that's unsupported or on the very low end of the supported list. Oblivion will run while you're in the prison cell. When you try to enter the sewers which are more graphically demanding, your video card can't handle it. Some players with low-end video cards can get through the sewers, but can't exit to the outside world without crashing. There is an application called Oldblivion which may allow you to play if the problem is what I described above. The Oblivion box lists the minimum and recommended system requirements. Do you know how your computer compares to those requirements? Edits:Here's a link to an automated tester: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest Select The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - PC from the drop-down list and hit the test button.
