Marxist ßastard
If you want to end some of those quests that are still hanging around, regardless of the fact you cannot do anything to finish them, download Freelancer. The plugin will, among other things, mark most of the miscellaneous quests that you have declined or solved in an "alternate" manner as being finished. Malchik
Marxist male without a father The more ways the better! Thanks Charon Cloudcleaver goes if you kill the 'witch'. Otherwise try suggestion from MB. Haven't done it yet as game time is evenings (uk) and currently I'm totally tied up with Measure for Measure getting home too late and too frayed. If you get there first tell me! Bon chance
Charon
I have tried and killed the "witch" Sosia and took Cloudcleaver from her still warm body - no way did it change the journal :( I start to regret that I believed her story. Bolvyn Venim - the same as above, I killed him and spoke with Sarethi. Journal entry didn't disappear but my rank in the Great House Redoran became Archmaster. Even thoug it seems that no one noticed  . They still say "move along" and "I don't believe that we have met, Outlander". What the **** I am the leader of the House but they treat me like a beggar. Marxist, thanks for the suggesting Freelancer, but I don't feel like using mods that chage a lot of stuff, I am a bit of a purist, you know ;)
Malchik
Hi Charon, try giving the axe to the Nord. It should work.
Charon
 I am sorry Malchik, but I can't - Nord is long time as dead :( I killed him protecting Sosia. By the way - are you Russian?
Malchik
Then you are stuffed as far as the journal entry goes. As for me, I am often rushin' but not Russian. My MW Source name is taken from the fantasy story I am writing where Malchik is an apprentice wizard from the school of death (it is a transliteration of the word for boy in Russian. Charon - hmm! I don't believe you live beyond the Styx. Perhaps you live out in the sticks?
Charon
B) I am not really transporting dead souls across the Styx, but you've guessed correctly, I took my nick from Greek mythology. Like it a lot. Anyway for me it's funny to see transliteration of the "boy" in Russian as your nick. Could you enlighten me on the fantasy story you took it from? Who is the author? Malchik
I am the author. Part 1 is self contained and finished. I am happy to PM the first chapter to you if you wish. Part 2 is in four volumes and I'm writing the second of these. On topic, I have added the Cloudcleaver quest to the pinned info in spoilers section following your comments. Still can't do Bolvyn Venim yet. Now, am I supposed to pay you an obol or something for that?
Charon
Joking? :P I am happy to help. You've done a great job starting such a topic, I just saw it - didn't visit Spoiler section before. Pretty nice to know what I shouldn't have done in the past :) I will try to find the name of that Nord and ressurect him - a bit of cheating but anyway :) Annoying line in the journal is worse. And yes, if you don't mind, I would like to read your fantasy story. Thanxxx :) Btw, what is it on your avatar - a dinosaur? Edit:Malchik, I noticed that you called Cloudcleaver a "sword", that's not exactly true - in fact Cloudcleaver is a battleaxe.
Malchik
Avatar is a painting of what I think is a floating city made of twisted pipes in the shape of a skull and in part on fire. And I didn't paint it. Appeals to my sense of the macabre. Thanks for the comments on the thread in spoilers. Those journal entries ANNOY me!
