ualeftie
Hi everybodymy system is pretty old - for example i'm still using AGP video, so that alone already can tell you pretty much about how old it is: 3.2 one core processor, i865 chipset + Radeon HD3650 and 2GB of PC3200 RAMbut i was able to play Fallout 3 just fine on pretty good settings nevertheless and expected to do so with New Vegashow terribly mistaken i was  none of the perf fixes worked so i was just ready to give up on this game and continue saving for new pc to play it, but i was still looking for some miracle fix here or elsewherei noticed when i play fallout with audio player working (Foobar in my case) i get the same amount of stuttering, but also clicks & pops in audio player output, so i thought i should research audio aspect to possibly get rid of the stutteringfirst of all i tried to disable audio completely in Fallout.ini and all of a sudden i had the same performance i enjoyed with Fallout 3next thing i tried was setting bMultiThreadAudio to 1 and it made me a really happy man - now i've got a game to play, with sound and no crazy stuttering artefactsi don't know will this help you, but i hope it willdon't forget that "fallout.ini" is read only by default and in my case using FalloutLauncher after tweaking the ini rewrote all parameters backgood luck
