I use to do some modding on the Total Wars and some other games , but have not played much lately on the PC side of gaming , I have both FO3 and FO NV for 360 , but as far as the PC versions go , how mod-able are they? Can you essentially overhaul the whole game? Which is one offers more modding freedom if there is a difference FO3 or NV? Thank you.
WastelandAssassin Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 you can mod pretty much every aspect of the game, if you know how to do soif you look at the mods for Fallout 3, you will see how many changes were made, so it would show you how much can be doneso yeah, both games are really mod-able, as far as i can say
Khet Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Pretty much. If it isn't hardcoded and is a game setting, model/animation, quest, actor, item, script, anything else that falls outside of the hardcode category, it can be done. Hell, NV is basically a massive Total Conversion of Falloutt 3.
