Vault 101 stuff

Hey.

 

Myself and others I know would like to RP as the Lone Wanderer, having travelled two and a half thousand miles from DC to New Vegas after being - let's face it - used and spit out by the Brotherhood of Steel.

 

I'm specifically looking for a Vault 101 Armored Jumpsuit and Sergeant RL-3 ported into New Vegas.

 

What a friend of mine also suggested is an entire new start to the game in which the player wakes up by the crashed Vertibird - having flown there with the Brotherhood from DC - although that could be massively complicated to implement.

 

Anyone else open to this Lone Courier idea?

That sounds like a pretty interesting idea. It would be a little difficult to implement but it would be a nice new start to the begining of the game. Another idea I had would have the PC start as they do now, and add in a small "side" story pertaining how they became a courier.

Check out the cheat terminal mod. You can get the armored 101 suit in it. And set your special, perks and skills. After all you are level 30 at the end of Fallout 3, doesn't make sense to wake up as a noob again does it? lol

 

I am playing as my Lone Wanderer as well. But he didn't fly to New Vegas, he walked there, on the dusty highways from settlement to settlement. He made it, but he's old and gray and grizzled. More bad ass than ever if you ask me. He left DC behind because of the pain of being alone. Needed caps so he took on a certain job with Mojave Express...

Personally mine walked from DC because the Brotherhood treated him like s***. "Go do all our dirty work because we can't do s***." Thanks guys. And being banned from Vault 101 after SAVING THEM was actually pretty hurtful. f*** Amata.

 

Now he walks around with an Enclave Eyebot. Ha.

 

And the old grizzled look doesn't work so much... it's only been four years.
