The dark ritual

On deviantArt there is this person who made and AMAZING comic strip of what their take on the sex scene was. I asked them if I could show you and see if you could turn my dream into reality.

I know I am asking a lot, and I don't expect much in return. But I think this would be a beautiful mod if it was to happen right

I really hate making the choice but I can't stand Alistair making that choice of killing himself :(

It was in response to a friend's distress over this issue that I tested and validated the "Resurrection" solution.

Using "runscript zz_addparty [Executed Non-Companion]" at the proper time, it is possible to have BOTH you and Alistair survive the Last Battle WITHOUT performing the DR at all. There is (potentially, depending on other in-game choices) one (slightly) disconcerting exchange of post-coronation dialogue with the offspring of the ressurected individual, but all the rest works seamlessly.

I was afraid everyone as going to over look this post.

That's why I have a mod letting me to hit him and sacrifice myself but... well... it's a great mod but it didn't make me feeling better, especially after the cutscene with Alistair holding my hero's body :(

Thanks for letting know this! I'll have to try this but...do I need have Alistair executed first? When should I use it, right after Landlords Meet? ( I hope that's the proper name in English version of the game, I use Polish one :P )

I NEVER exectute Alistair. I was trying to indicate the OTHER potential Warden, (who I NEVER recruit into the Party) without having to use [ spoiler ] tags. That's who I add with the Console Command.

And just to ensure Alistair's safety, I leave him in charge at the Gates, (guess I'm just a Softie) and take either Sten or Shale with me through Denerim.

I used this method of acquiring another "volunteer" for the Ultimate Sacrifice RIGHT BEFORE the end. Just before opening the door onto the rooftop of Ft. Drakon. (Later on I figured out (and verified) that it would work even later, when the AD had been reduced to ALMOST nothing.)

Since the only reason to use it is to be able to keep both yourself and Alistair alive after having refused the DR completely, waiting unitl as late as possible just seemed... appropriate.

(And your English is a correct translation of the Polish, but the term used in English is "Landsmeet". I guess, the "Lords" are simply implied.)

I never execute Alistair either, it's beyond my possibilities, I would consider it ONLY IF I could ressurect him and have still in the party, but I prefer having him unharmed at all. I watched once the scene of betraying Alistair on youtube and it was too much for me. But your method is brilliant and I will try it ASAP, I'm getting closer to Denerim with my Cousland lady :)

Thanks for correcting my English :)

KrystalinKuppicakes, I hope someone will be able to create this, I really would love to see it in the game.

If you don't get your mod made I can vouch for Thandal's console cheat, it works great, I milked it for all it's worth and even turned her down in front of Alistair, I know the program didn't realise that, but it still felt good and it's simple to do and doesn't even mess up the epilogues, in fact I found that part quite amusing.

Now if only he can tell me how to get rid of the other volunteer my after blight camp would look a lot nicer
