[REQ] Replacement for the Service Rifle line of guns.

Ok, so i dont know about you guys, but the assault carbine and especially the marksman carbine seemed out of place in the fallout universe to me.

And to some degree so did the service rifle.

 

So in keeping with the look of the game i would like to replace them all with a line of rifles that either resemble the M14 weaponline or possibly the FN FAL variations (but with a wooden stock).

 

Of course they shouldnt look exactly like their real life counterparts, but something along the lines of those anyway (maby the Ruger mini-14 mixed with the M14?)

 

they would come in three versions, Semi auto long barreled rifle, Full auto assault carbine and Medium length barrel marksman rifle with a scope.

 

The Service rifle would be the long barreled one with a full wooden stock and no special furnishings.

The Assault carbine would be a short barreled version with a folding stock made of metal and a shorter foregrip (to go with the shorter barrel)

The marksman carbine would be similar to the assault carbine only with a longer barrel and a scope attached (and possibly a full wooden stock with a cheek rest)

 

Imagine the Mini-14 line but with the M14 EBR look (but with wooden or metal furnishings) when it comes to the carbine versions.

As for the FN FAL there are a couple of smaller variants out there that could work as an example, but using M16 20 round magazines (or even straight 30 round magazines)

 

Actually, after thinking about it a bit, the full auto versions of the Ruger fit in perfectly. Theres the full wooden stock version with long barrel and 20 round magazine. Theres the shorter version with folding stock and 20-30 round magazines and just adding a scope to a long barreled version with folding stock would be perfect for the marksman carbine.

Add some wethering and youre almost done.
