Can't use AA

Hi, everytime I try to set the AA from the menu it turns on OFF. No matter if I select 2x or 15x I can't use it.

Check if AA is disabled by your graphics driver. If so, it could be that the driver settings override the game settings. In that case:

 

... just set AA to whatever level you want within the driver (and match that setting in the game or leave AA disabled, test what will work)

 

... or set AA in the driver to be "application controlled". Then, in the game, enable AA and it should work.

 

If this doesn't help, then just try your luck and google after "fallout new vegas AA" and see if you can find some useful solutions...

 

On a side note, there seems to be a graphical bug going on with Nvidia cards, just to let you know (not sure if it has been taken care of by now): http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=183640

Ok It was set OFF on the NVIDIA control pannel.

I set it to application controlled now. Later I'll try to play and see if it's ok!

nvidia's new 260.99 G-force drivers have full AA support for FO:NV now.

 

i had to turn my AA off just to play the game before i installed the new drivers. now with the 260.99 drivers i have AA up all the way and the game runs like butter.
