You are never a member of the NCR or the Legion, nor do they ever ask you to join either. The only real faction you can join is the Brotherhood of Steel iirc. Liquidacid23 Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 you can also become a member of "The Kings" gang in freeside .. tho it doesn't do anything but give you the uniform and then every time you enter freeside one of the members will run up say "thanks for all your help" and give you a small gift.. usually crap.. he gave me 2 caps once.. Gishank Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 That guy running up to you is doing so because you helped out Freeside and have a high fame, not because you joined the Kings besides he gives you better stuff too stuch as 1-3 stimpak's for example. TherapistNate Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 The main factions are usually initiated by entering the strip, not sure about NCR.Wild Card covers most of the minor factions, Followers of the Apocalypse's trust usually overlaps with Freeside quests and Helios One. Otherwise you join a faction by gaining trust and doing their final quest.
