Outcast and Tribal power armor

It's likely a texture that isn't just for the tribal armor thats missing. I would open the nif and see what textures it uses and then check to see if you have them all.

 

I would do it myself, but I can't find the armor nif or it's textures in my files. Did it come with New Vegas?

But looking at it, I would suggest using Ashur's Power Armor texture. It's the closest to it, if not the texture used. I haven't played FO3 for awhile, so I don't really recall what it looks like, but I did look at the texture Ashur's armor uses, and it looks the same as that image.

No, i had to get the textures from The Pit DLC and they are called Ashurpowerarmor or something,, so i have the right ones,, if there are textures missing,, they were not on the list of textures related to ashurs armor,, that means it must be hidden somewhere,, i could try to extract all the apparell textures from the pitt and put them in my NV folder,, i assume the textures are used automatically by the mesh file..

i think what people here are saying, is that the armor uses more than one texture file

there are areas, as it seems, that uses other textures, at least, that's what i understood

so you will need to make sure if it really uses more than one texture, or just this one

That or you put them in the wrong directory. Happened to me more than once, sad to say :P

 

Edit: But literally, believe it or not, the getting the wrong textures from stuff around IS a sign that it can't find a texture.

Lesson learned, if your going to port an armor, weapon, or anything else from Fallout 3, make sure to check the NIF files to see if you have all the textures you need to avoid problems like this.
