Fallout: New British Empire

Hey everyone,

 

I bring to you Fallout: New British Empire a mod in extremely early stages of development that I'm working on with two other keen modders.

A quick summary of our planned storyline:

There are two main factions - The New British Order (NBO) and The Royalists

 

The NBO:

- NBO are an organisation initially established by Generals and high ranking government officials (not including the PM) They secretly stockpiled cash meant for the defence budget.

 

- Secretly hired Vault-Tec to convert Churchill's secret WWII bunker, Codenamed: Paddock into a modern facility in anticipation for the war. This was unknown to the public and even the PM himself. Various other, lower tech bunkers were also constructed to house the best and brightest scientists, doctors, engineers etc to maintain a long term future. These members of the NBO were moved into the bunkers approximately 18 months prior to the war. No one really knows who long before.

 

- They ultimately seek power above all else, they believe in democracy but believe they are required to “get the ball rolling” they are there for the greater good “sacrificing few to benefit many”

 

The Royalists:

- Distant, distant relations to the monarchy became ghoulified after initial bombs landed 200+ years ago and have been in power ever since.

 

- Were forced out of Buckingham Palace by Anarchy in the UK as a “f*** you” to the royalty soon after moving in. They relocated to the Tower of London where they lived in squalor slowly building a sympathetic following. They are infamous for publicly executing those apposed to their views and display their heads on spikes as a warning to others. They now have sufficient numbers to be a threat to the NBO.

 

- Son to the king is pissed that he still isn’t in power and is looking for ways to overthrow or even kill his father to get it.

 

 

As this is very early stages of development, some aspects of the story may change, but the main concept is concrete - There is a civil war between these two groups fighting for power and you are caught in the middle.

There are many other smaller factions, but I don't want to give away too much too soon! ;)

 

On the website there is some early concept images and models of the Paddock bunker, still in development.
