Textures issue

Hey guys,

I have been having this issue since Fallout 3 GECK Modding... Ok... So ive setup many different things, guns, signs, ammo box's etc... I used the latest nifscope to do my modding. So the issue gradually came to be.

At my early stages of Modding with GECK... if I added my modded item... when I edit the model and select the new model, My say weapon would load and the textures would be already on. No other modding required. I believe updating to GECK 1.5 and even the new GECK for Vegas has brought over my issue.

Now when I put new model on, the texture is red and shiny, or as some of you know, it means the textures aint loaded... So I found out that you must make a texture model in the textures area in the GECK, thing is, most weapons and objects were not on the list yet they could load the textures related to them. So for sake of the benefit of the doubt, I made my textures. Now its only one thing Im bothered abit at, that is my Vault signs.

I have modded the text on the DDS so nifscope is able to select the correct UV of the words I need. The texture is ruined (or the rusted look with yellow background behind words) and is loaded correctly on nifscope... but when I made the texture model and went to edit the Mesh and select in the column/s to select the texture. the ruined look is correct, but the light (or background) keeps loading the green light.

This is the best I can describe it.

Summary:

1. Build Mesh in nifscope.

2. Load Sign into GECK.

3. Sign texture in Model Data Red. No texture loaded.

4. Make new Texture Set of the NEW ruined sign texture.

5. Go back to Model Data, change the alternate textures to the texture sets made.

6. Full Texture works but wrong color behind words, GREEN, NOT YELLOW.

Now I dunno if Vault signs do something else when loading textures, maybe I missed out on fixing something in nifscope... but all I know is that I never used to be made to make texture sets for anything i add... just load the mesh and the texture loads with it.

Any help would be hot.

To understand the color I wanted, look at, say, the vsignreactorarrowR in geck and see for yourself. where the words sit is yellow, find a vsign not ruined that has green not red, thats the color loading on my ruined one.
