Can't select items in the render window

Not entirely sure what's going on here, but I can't select items in the render window when I click on them, and if I try and right click the item/environment part, it just gives me the basic render window options. I've tried dragging a selection box around the items in question, and right clicking all over the item in question in an attempt to rotate it, but with no luck whatsoever. Any input? Also, I'm new to the modding scene, so I apologize if I'm doing something stupid or missing something very obvious here.

Make sure you're not in navMesh editing mode (ctrl+E).

 

Also right clicking does nothing. You have to double-click to access properties.
