IgnusDei
here's a drawing of the t-51b, with some extra plating on the midsection, and POUCHES! for all those extra bits of lewt. http://www.deviantart.com/download/184339893/just_for_fun__fallout_pa_by_ignusdei-d31r1kl.jpg Wondering if anyone wants to have a crack at not only the model but the proportions seen here. Funkdrspot
What I don't get is why not just take off the shoulder pads and have a nice SPARTAN/Power Armor hybrid?
IgnusDei
What I don't get is why not just take off the shoulder pads and have a nice SPARTAN/Power Armor hybrid? they did it with the NCR t-45, but the shoulders are pretty wimpy. Bladerting
What I don't get is why not just take off the shoulder pads and have a nice SPARTAN/Power Armor hybrid? Because the Shoulders Plates of the T-51b is also one of the Signature parts of the Armor.
Funkdrspot
Yeah, but I guess I've never had a thing for armor that serves almost no purpose and restricts mobility. If you're going to have functional armor, at least have it come UP and not OUT to block head/neckshots. But that's just my .02. Either way, GL with the request, I always like new stuff to my game :P
Gashjackel
The shoulder pads quite effectively protect the shoulders and the neck. Remember the US Army Power Armour was designed for frontal assaults. In Operation Anchorage you see how its meant to be used. Quick strikes using heavy weapons like flamers, miniguns, fat mans, etc. What I would love to see is some Enclave armour that's had pouches, packs, bodged repairs and such done to it to give it a rougher appearance.
