Makou107 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I've notice that some of the links I have for certain mods have gone dead. Upon searching only one has been found again. Is there a reason they are removed? Is there a site log that shows what is removed? Just curious.
TheVampireDante Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Files are removed for two reasons: 1. The uploader has pulled the mod for whatever reason(s) they have. 2. The staff have removed the mod because it breaks site rules (harmful or illegal content, offensive materials, etc...). So either option could be why the links are dead.
Interfer0 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 They are removing ported mod that were not ported by the author. I'm not sure how they are determining if the uploader has the original authors consent, they may be asking the uploader for proof.
