Nvenom94
(sorry if this is sloppy wrighting it on my ps3 browser)Ill try to keep it simple... I have a nice bit of experience with geck so i should be able to follow advice atleast somewhat i also use gimp a lot so i know that ( i suck at Photoshop.. i just dont like it) i can take help there aswell. Onto the issue, Im trying to add a whole nother pipboy into the game for my quest chain i know the commands to add it in and found the meshes and eddited my DDS Textures , i made the Texture map for my new custom pipboy to be added into the game but when i went to lay it over the original pipboy mesh it just simply does not apply (i have added it ingame by replacing my current pipboy DDS's in my Texture folder but thats just a retexture i want to add a whole new pipboy) i Duped the pipboy went to change its texture on its mesh but my texture map dosent want to stick, any clues? BulletSix
assuming i understand you correctly: the texture mapping is defined in the .nif file, so you`d have to "apply the texture map" in nifskope and save as new .nifotherwise you may very well change the texture but not the texture-mapping."Applying the texture map" (which is the uv-map, right?) would either men to change the uv-mapping in a 3d-modeling software and copy the exported nifstrips to the new pipboy oresting the uv-map in nifskope itself. if my assumption from the beginning turns out to be wrong, ignore me
