Can't change lip colour

i have this same problem only just for my nord dont know why it was doing it in the end i just quit and went and downloaded a new race

To change lip color;

 

You can use the console command showracemenu to design the exact face you want and then import that

in creation kit when creating an NPC

 

 

Proceedure;

 

Run Skyrim

Run console command showracemenu and edit the face you want.

Go back into console and type SPF <character name>, this will create the file <character name>.npc in your Skyrim directory

First BACKUP and then REMOVE the contents of Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks

In Creation Kit, edit the NPC , go to the 'Character Gen Parts' tab and IMPORT from the <character name>.npc file you generated.

Save changes and then press CTRL-F4. You will be prompted to 'Export face gen data for all selected npcs', confirm that.

(If you open the .dds file in 'Skyrim\Data\textures\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceTint\<npc name>.esp ' in GIMP (for example)

then you will see the correctly coloured lips. If you want, have a look at this file before you change anything and you won't see the lip colour)

RESTORE the content of Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmasks from backup.

Run Skyrim and lips will be correctly coloured.
